OFFICIAL RAFFLE RULES AND CONDITIONS:
OFFICIAL RULES: By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Worcester Railers Booster Club which shall be binding and final as to all matters related to the Raffle. The Raffle is operated under State Lottery License No. 2284 and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.
PROCEEDS: All proceeds of the Raffle will benefit the Worcester Railers Booster Club, P.O. Box 210, Grafton, MA 01519, a 501(c)(7) organization with Tax ID # 04-3288823 ,and the programs that the Worcester Railers Booster Club support.
PRIZES: Winner will receive 50% of the Total Raffle Sales. (“Prize”)
ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER: During the dates and times and other details specified below, raffle tickets are available for purchase by anyone 18 Years or older regardless of their residence if tickets are purchased in person at the game. Online purchases available at www.railersbc.com/5050raffle if the purchaser is located in Massachusetts and 18 years or older. On-line sales start times will be posted on the Worcester Railers website at www.railersbc.com/5050raffle. All sales will end at the start of the third period.
Any members of Tap50:50 organization, people involved in the conduct and management of the raffle for that specific night, and their immediate family, are not allowed to purchase tickets.
PURCHASING RAFFLE ENTRIES: The following prices and corresponding “ticket numbers” are available for purchase: 6 numbers for $5, 20 numbers for $10, 50 numbers for $20, and 120 numbers for $40.
THE DRAWS: A 50/50 raffle and draw will be held for all regular season and playoff home games for the 2021/2022 hockey season. All draws will take place at DCU Centre, 50 Foster St. Worcester MA 01608 shortly after the start of the 3rd period of the hockey game. The winning ticket is drawn electronically by a random number generator. The winning ticket number will be announced over the public address. Ticket must be presented to claim prize and the number on the ticket must match the random generated number. If the winning ticket was purchased online, the purchaser will be contacted via telephone per the information they submit at time of online purchase. The winning number will also be posted online at www.railersbc.com/5050raffle.
The winner will have 30 calendar days from the draw date to claim their prize. If the prizes go unclaimed beyond their hold date, the prize will be forfeited. Forfeited prizes will be retained by the Worcester Railers Booster Club for charitable use.
DETERMINATION OF OFFICIAL WINNER: Worcester Railers Booster Club shall have the sole discretion to determine whether each Potential Winner is an official winner of a Prize (an “Official Winner”). Worcester Railers Booster Club decision concerning the identity of all Official Winners shall be final and binding. To become an Official Winner: (1) a Potential Winner must be eligible to participate in the Raffle under these Official Rules and must not be in violation of these Official Rules as determined in Worcester Railers Booster Club sole judgment; (2) that Potential Winner must claim the prize by the deadline specified above.
The winner must provide his/her name, address and phone number with picture identification to claim the prize. A scan of a valid state or federal photo identification card (i.e., driver’s license, firearm possession permit, passport, etc.) is acceptable.
AWARD OF PRIZE(S) TO OFFICIAL WINNER(S): A Prize will be awarded to the Potential Winner who has been designated by Worcester Railers Booster Club as an Official Winner. The winner’s name will be published. All prizes will be awarded to the Winner via check. For security and auditing purposes, no cash payments will be made to winners.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: The Released Parties (defined below under “RELEASE OF LIABILITY”) are not responsible for: (1) Entries which are stolen, lost, damaged, illegible, given away or no longer in the purchaser’s possession, (2) Entries that have been or may have been tampered with or re-sold in violation of these Official Rules; (3) Entries or payments that are delayed, misdirected, undelivered, not fully captured, or garbled as a result of any failure or problem whatsoever with the availability, functionality, operability or use of any network, server, ISP, website, computer, telephone, cable or satellite modem or connection, hand held mobile device or any other computer equipment or connection, whether or not caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by viruses, worms, or malfunctions affecting a network, server ISP or any equipment or programming used in or associated with the Raffle; (4) any other errors of any kind, whether human, typographical, printing, mechanical, or electronic in nature, which relate to or are connected with the Raffle (collectively, as described in clauses (1) through (4), “Errors”), including without limitation Errors in Raffle-related materials or in the administration of the Raffle, such as Errors in processing Entries, identifying Potential Winners, determining Official Winners, or announcing or delivering Prizes; or If any portion of the Raffle is compromised, in Worcester Railers Booster Club sole judgment, by a virus, worm, bug, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in Worcester Railers Booster Club sole judgment, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Raffle, or the proper submission or capture of Entries (collectively, a “Compromising Event”), then Worcester Railers Booster Club reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend, modify or terminate the Raffle, and to select winners from all eligible, non-suspect Entries received before the known occurrence or discovery of such a Comprising Event. All Entry purchases shall be final, and no refunds or replacements will be issued by Worcester Railers Booster Club. Worcester Railers Booster Club has the sole and final decision on admissibility of entries and the determination of prize winner.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY: Entrants, by participating in the Raffle, agree that Worcester Railers Booster Club and Tap 50:50, each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, partners, and advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, shareholders, members, consultants and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability for injuries, losses, cost, expenses or damages of any kind, including damages for death, personal injury, property damage.
